Older Learners and the Arts

Older Learners and the Arts is a project working with those over 50 who require support and encouragement to re-enter learning in order to progress to employment, take up a new hobby or enhance their quality of life.

Using the creative arts - Writing, Painting, Drama, Story telling and Music, the project has been working with over 60 older people who want to work with us to establish a national arts learning project for the over 50’s.

We have recently submitted an application to the BIG Lotterty to help create a new project for the over 50's. Why not come and see the project in action and hear what the Culture Minister has to say on Monday 28 April 2008.
